I have had three unmedicated Bradley births. When I was pregnant with our first, I researched all the different methods of giving birth naturally and was fascinated by The Bradley Method (r) because of the breadth of information that was the basis of the classes and because the coach plays such an important role in the birth of the baby. My husband was committed to our family as much as I was, why should this not be about him as much as it was about my daughter and myself? From the beginning, this baby was OURS, not mine. My husband attended all the meetings with our midwife and he caught our daughter, cut the cord, was with me 100% of the way.

I became a Bradley teacher after my second was born in 2004. I love being pregnant and giving birth and wanted to share that joy with other women who were about to embark on the same journey I had just been through. I have since given birth again and this time I was able to very consciously try the methods that we teach in Bradley, and I can't say enough how very powerful the things we teach in the classes are. We talk about breathing and relaxing- I tried not breathing "right" and tensing up- now those were some difficult contractions. I had a couple of contractions while my husband had to be out of the room- those were even worse! I believed in the method because my first two labors had gone so beautifully, but now I have seen the other side- I *know* how much it hurts when you work against your body or your very well trained coach is not there for a contraction or two. I *know* all the things we teach in this class are ABSOLUTELY essential.

Our first two were born in local hospitals, attended by midwives and our third was born here at home. We have too, been in the same place you are now... not long ago. I know the questions and concerns you have and am happy to help dispel any myths and give you a plethora of information to help you make truly informed decisions,  whatever you end up choosing.

I love working with pregnant families and commit myself 100% to the process. I am there for my students anytime and in any way I can be. This is such a special time in people's lives and I am honored when someone chooses me to be part of their journey.
